Overview

The M/V Cape Race is a retired fishing trawler that has been converted into a NASA research vessel. The ship contains an ice-strengthened bow and a protected propeller, which allows the vessel to endure numerous polar expeditions. The Cape Race’s typical research voyages support up to 12 staff and crew while covering up to 4,000 nautical miles.
